About Camille E. Hendsbee, RD, LDN
Ms. Hendsbee has been registered in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics
since 1984 - graduating from Framingham State College with a Bachelor's of Science
Degree in Dietetics and obtaining Registration with the American Dietetics Association via
the three year membership route at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston MA and Metrowest Medical
Center, Framingham, MA. During her studies, Ms. Hendsbee worked as an exercise
instructress at the President's-First Lady Spas of Framingham teaching women's wellness
and body shaping. Clinical experience includes Staff Clinical Dietetics at New
England Baptist Hospital, Boston, MA whereupon she was a guest speaker at the National
Orthopedic Convention on "Nutrition - Working and Playing To Stay Fit".
Megna Nutrition was incorporated in 1984. Contracts included 13 years of
Food Service and Behavioral Nutrition Care at HRI, Bournwood, Westwood Lodge Hospitals and
Community Resources For Justice in Massachusetts. Responsibilities included patient
management of Eating Disorders including Diet and Addiction as well as menu design and
development, food procurement, delivery and special functions.
In 1994 and for more than 10 years, Megna Nutrition began the sub-company
"PlayGarden Day Care of Natick" managing daycare for children ages 2 months to 5
years with food allergies and asthma - preparing all natural diets for children with
special nutritional needs.
Ms. Hendsbee was a guest speaker on a local cable network program speaking
on Childhood Nutrition and Healthy Lunches and also has written a Nutrition and Lifestyle column
for the Boston Women's Journal.
Currently in private practice Ms. Hendsbee enjoys being part of her client's decision to live healthier longer lives.
